Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold shares new music snippet
Frontman says he’s working on a solo album alongside Fleet Foxes’ new LP.
Fleet Foxes are currently at work on a new album, and frontman Robin Pecknold has confirmed he’s also working on a solo album.
On Instagram, Pecknold claimed Fleet Foxes’ new record was getting “kind of crazy / vast”, before adding that he was “working” on a “palliative solo album on off days.” The solo album has a working title of ‘Putting Babies to Sleep / Living My Truth’.
Pecknold also shared a snippet of new music, although it’s not known whether this appears from his solo or Fleet Foxes LP sessions.
Earlier this year, Pecknold debuted new music while supporting Joanna Newsom on tour. Back in April, the reclusive group confirmed they were ending a hiatus, established back in 2014 when the frontman started a degree at Columbia University.
