Arlo Parks unveils Loyle Carner-directed ‘Eugene’ video
Loyle teams up with brother Ryan to present Arlo’s emotional story.
Teaming up with the Coyle-Larner bros for the vid, Arlo Parks has shared the visuals for new sizzler ‘Eugene’. Exploring difficult feelings towards a friend, Arlo explains of the gorgeous track, “it explores the agony, jealousy and confusion that comes to light when the lines between platonic and romantic love blur”.
With Loyle Carner and his brother Ryan hopping behind the camera for their directorial debut, the accompanying video expertly shows Arlo’s story, with Ryan noting, “Arlo’s enigmatic voice perfectly complements our visual style, the track is banging.”
“I was so grateful to be able to work with the Coyle-Larner brothers,” Arlo adds. “They created such an intimate visual that really allows for a million different interpretations - it was a very special moment for me.”
