EMA Announces ‘The Future’s Void’ Album, Streams ‘SATELLITES’

Erika M. Anderson’s announced the details of her second album, ‘The Future’s Void’.

Her EMA follow-on to 2011 debut ‘Past Life Martyred Saints’ lands in Spring 2014 via City Slang (Europe) and Matador (worldwide). It’s headed up by ‘Satellites’, an industrial giant of a lead track that’s absolutely almighty in its intentions. Defined by fearsome spikes of noise and a veritable wall of sound, it’s also an immediate indication of what to expect, with dramatic strings being added to the mix.

The song comes with this big-in-meaning description from Erika: ‘Satellites explores the places where everyone has equal access but is also under constant surveillance. A young westerner imagines life in the former Soviet Bloc. We fought the wars with information.’
