Flying Lotus Finishing New Album, Currently Unsigned

2014’s already hinting at returns from Julian Casablancas, Wild Beasts and plenty more - now it’s looking likely that Steven Ellison aka Flying Lotus will be releasing a new album in the next 12 months.

Ellison took to twitter, first of all, to declare himself ‘unsigned’, before clearing up that there wasn’t any beef between himself and label Warp. He’s in ‘negotiations’ with the label, declaring himself ‘floating lotus.’

He’s also confirmed that the new album is in its mixing stages. He’ll be adding verses from his alter-ego Captain Murphy, too.
