Listen: Angel Haze Shares ‘A Tribe Called Red’ Track, Album Details

NYC rapper Angel Haze has shared a new cut from her ‘Dirty Gold’ debut.

‘A Tribe Called Red’ begins with lots of big, all-encompassing statements about how Angel ‘lives for the music’ and how it’s ‘where I come to life.’ Swiftly following that, it starts spinning some hot-to-trot samples and blink-and-you-missed-it observations about ‘haters don’t hate when you’re winning and shit.’

Angel’s also shared the cover art (right) for her ‘Dirty Gold’ album, which according to US iTunes comes out on 3rd March 2014 [via].

‘Dirty Gold’ will be out via Island on 3rd March 2014, featuring recent single ‘Echelon (It’s My Way)’. Other song titles include ‘Angel + Airwaves’, ‘Planes Fly’, and ‘Black Dahlia’, as well as ‘A Tribe Called Red’, available to stream below.

The twelve-track record was produced in collaboration with Markus Dravs, with credits also falling to Mele and Mike Dean.
