aka Kwabena Adjepong made a stunning first impression back with debut track ‘Spirit Fade’. His background consists of performing in front of Prince Harry before turning his aim towards distinct, electronically-backed soul cuts.

His first single came produced by The Invisible’s Dave Okumu. New track ‘Last Stand’ recruits 4AD signing SOHN. The only other song the latter’s put his name to has been BANKS’ ‘Waiting Game’, and this track possesses a similarly murky, dark vibe.

Adjepong’s vocals rinse out any lurking creatures that SOHN inserts, giving old-school soul a whole new territory to explore.
