Listen: Tourist Remixes CHVRCHES’ ‘Lies’

‘Lies’ is 1/12th of an all-killer no-filler debut. So many giddy synthpop juggernauts, it’s difficult to know where to look. There’s zero downtime, no moment of reflection - not that this is a bad thing at all, but Will Phillips aka rising producer Tourist is giving the original of ‘Lies’ an old-fashioned curveball with his new remix.

The London-based producer’s new take on the Glasgow trio’s early single is a looped, simmering take, as dark as city gutters, as gorgeous as the original. It’s a giant, industrial re-edit that’s going to take some topping.

‘Lies’ is released on 2nd December as a new single.
