Metallica & Iron Maiden Confirmed To Headline Sonisphere 2014
The three-day festival will make its return next summer from 4th to 6th July 2014.

Having taken two years off, Sonisphere is due to return next summer and it’s planning on packing one hell of a punch.
After being cancelled in 2012, and ‘taking a year off’ this summer, the festival is all set to return in 2014 and, for the first time in the UK, metal legends Metallica and Iron Maiden will both be taking on headlining duties.
The three-day festival, which will celebrate the 40th anniversary of events taking place at Knebworth, will run next summer from 4th to 6th July. The final headliners will be announced shortly.
Whilst Iron Maiden have confirmed that this will be the final show of their ‘Maiden England’ shows, Metallica’s Lars Ulrich went as far to say, ‘to be invited to co-headline the 40th anniversary celebration at the legendary Knebworth House is truly a mindf*ck. Considering the iconic bands whose performances at Knebworth are part of rock and roll history, it’s not only a next level honor, but a somewhat humbling undertaking.’
Early Bird Weekend tickets for the event are on sale now, with the popular £50 deposit scheme making a return this year. For more information, head to www.sonisphere.co.uk.
