Aldous Harding unveils plans for fifth album ‘Train On The Island’
New track ‘One Stop’ is her first solo release in four years.

New Zealand luminary Aldous Harding has announced that her next studio album, ‘Train On The Island’, will be released on 8th May via 4AD - and, to mark the occasion, she’s dropped its lead single ‘One Stop’ to boot.
The awaited successor to her 2022 LP ‘Warm Chris’, this new record - her fifth - was co-produced by Aldous and her longtime collaborator John Parish (PJ Harvey, Dry Cleaning) at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales (where she also tracked her three most recent albums).
Our first taste of what to expect from the 10-track project, ‘One Stop’, is an expectedly spellbinding cut which meanders through subtle piano work, spotlighting her evocative vocals, before metamorphosing into a folky, guitar-flecked outro. Watch its Michelle Henning-directed video here:
