Back for good
Alexisonfire officially announce reunion at Riot Fest
The band announced that they’re back for real at Toronto gig.

Alexisonfire last night (19th September) announced that their reunion, originally set just for a number of festival shows this summer, is indefinite.
Playing the final show of their scheduled reunion tour at Riot Fest in Toronto, frontman Wade MacNeil addressed the crowd during the set, stating: “Alexisonfire is officially back. We promise to never leave you again.”
There was no indication from the band as to when new tour dates would be announced, or if they’re currently working on new material, but the important thing is that last night clearly wasn’t the end of Alexisonfire.
The band’s reunion tour included shows at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals, and finished with gigs at the two Riot Fest events in Chicago and Toronto.
