AlunaGeorge have unveiled ‘I’m in Control’, their brand new single and first taste of an upcoming second album.
The duo’s second LP is due this Spring via Island, following on from 2013 debut ‘Body Music’. In the years between records, George Reid has opted to take a backseat role in the project, with Aluna Francis going front and centre. As evidenced by the photo above, where George has his back turned and is out of focus. It’s very symbolic.
New song ‘I’m In Control’ sees the pair collaborating with Popcaan on an instant, chiming fix. It’s a fair way from ‘Body Music’, sitting somewhere in the middle of that record and more recent collabs with ZHU and Baauer.
