Alvvays and Gengahr to play Transgressive’s 10th Anniversary party, ‘New Sounds’
Blaenavon are also on the initial bill for a gig this October.
Transgressive Records has announced a new band-centric party, as part of its 10th Anniversary celebrations.
The label has confirmed a bill containing Canadians Alvvays, new signings Gengahr and the ridiculously young and promising Blaenavon.
All three make up a bill branched under the name ‘New Sounds’, with the gig taking place on 30th October at Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club.
This show arrives one month on from another Transgressive party at London Barbican, 30th September, with Mystery Jets, Johnny Flynn and Marika Hackman all set to appear.
Tickets for the ‘New Sounds’ show are priced at £10, available now.
Transgressive founders Toby L and Tim Dellow spoke to DIY about their whirlwind first ten years - and an exciting future - in the September issue.
