Alvvays to take on your questions in DIY’s Popstar Postbag
The Canadian group are the latest band set to take on the challenge.
Over the last few issues of DIY, we’ve given you the chance to grill some of your favourite bands by sticking your questions into the Popstar Postbag. So far, poor Peace had to face every question under the sun from #thesquad before Wolf Alice came under fire themselves. Later on the likes of Twin Atlantic, Marmozets and most recently Lower Than Atlantis have been forced to offer up answers.
Now that those lot have recovered from the experience, we’re bringing in Canadian five-piece Alvvays to undertake the challenge of facing your questions.
The idea is simple: think of a question - any question, don’t be shy - and we’ll put it to our nominated Popstar. All you have to do is drop us an email to [email protected] or Tweet us at @diymagazine (along with the hashtag #postbag) and we’ll get you replies quicker than Royal Mail could ever hope for.
Each month, there’ll be a new artist to interrogate, so after you’ve given them a good grilling, they’ll appear in the new issue of DIY.
So, if you’ve ever really wanted to know what inspired their new album, or what’s the silliest thing they’ve done on tour, now’s your chance. You can ask Alvvays whatever you fancy!
Send your questions for Alvvays to [email protected] or Tweet us at @diymagazine with #postbag.
