Angel Haze streams ‘Back To The Woods’ in full
Doubts were cast over the release of the record earlier, but it’s here.
Earlier today, Angel Haze tweeted that their new project album ‘Back To The Woods’ wasn’t coming out at all. How seriously this was to be taken wasn’t clear until a follow-up tweet was posted, and the album has indeed now arrived, available to stream in full.
The album, which is described as a ‘project’ as opposed to the LPs and mixtapes Haze has released thus far, is their first major release since 2013 LP ‘Dirty Gold’.
The full album follows preview tracks ‘Impossible’, ‘Babe Ruthless’ and ‘Moonrise Kingdom’, which all show of exceedingly different sides to Haze’s repertoire, and an experimentation that ‘Dirty Gold’ never strayed into.
Replying to fans on Twitter, Haze said the project was something they “wanted to share before the sophomore”, indicating LP2 may also be arriving soon.
