Animal Collective To Release ‘Centipede Hz’ With DVD

Animal Collective will be releasing their brand new album ‘Centipede Hz’ on the 3rd September, and have now announced that it will also come with a DVD.

The band release their follow-up to 2009’s ‘Merriweather Post Pavilion’, through Domino Records and have now revealed that anyone who is to pre-order the album, will get an accompanying DVD with their purchase.

The extra disc is set to contain DVD playback of the album (with a whopping 24 bit / 96k resolution), footage from their July 2011 show at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, and other high definition videos from the band.

The band have also confirmed plans to return to the UK and Ireland for a four-date tour.

Their visit to our shores will follow on from the release of their brand new album in September.
