Venezuelan-born producer Arca is unveiling a surreal, harrowing new video for his ‘Thievery’ track, the lead take from his forthcoming debut album.

With ‘Xen’ due out via Mute this autumn, the former FKA twigs and Kanye West collaborator’s debut full-length is being matched with this eerie, sci-fi style clip that appears to show an alien twerking.

That’s the only way to describe this otherworldly sight, which comes directed by regular visual collaborator Jesse Kanda.

Via The Fader, watch Arca’s new video below. An interview in the publication reveals that he’s the solo producer of Björk’s new album, the follow-up to 2011’s ‘Biophilia’.

‘Xen’ is out 3rd November. ‘Thievery’ is one of fifteen previously unheard songs.

Before his collaboration work, two EPs on UNO NYC (‘Stitches 1’ and ‘Stitches 2’) turned heads towards Arca’s batshit-crazy electronic work. Then followed 2013’s ‘&&&&&’.

Arca’s also announced some European dates - tickets for the London show go on sale 1st October.
