Arcade Fire look set to release a new single this year!
Speaking on a basketball podcast (obviously) for his beloved New Orleans Pelicans, frontman Win Butler revealed that the band have been working on the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Everything Now’, and should have something new to go relatively soon.
Speaking on an episode of The Ringer NBA Show, Win revealed that the Canadians are “just working on a track – it will actually be out sooner than later.”
When the host pushed him for more info, asking “Possible Arcade Fire single coming out this year?”, Win simply replied “Yeah”.
Arcade Fire finished up the tour for ‘Everything Now’ last year, on an in-the-round tour which included a fantastic show at London’s Wembley Arena.
“While ‘Everything Now’ saw an Arcade Fire feeling disconnected from the world and from their audience, tonight shows them to have never been closer. As arena shows go, this will struggle to be topped,” we wrote in our review.
Stand by for new music!
