The band headlined the festival last night (Sunday 30th October), getting the crowd to help out with a melody for LP5.

At their headline slot at Voodoo Experience last night, Arcade Fire enlisted the crowd to star on their new album.

“I don’t know if you guy are good singers - do you guys wanna be on our record?” frontman Win Butler asked the crowd. Guiding them through a melody line that’s set to feature on their fifth LP, “you guys imitate me, and if you sing it really good, you can be on our record,” he joked. Watch footage of the singalong below via ArcadeFireTube - it’s a lovely little melody line. Well done Arcade Fire.

Back on Saturday night, the band debuted new material from that very same album to a tiny crowd of just 175 people. Arcade Fire’s ‘Reflektor’ follow-up is set for a spring release, apparently.
