Arcade Fire’s Will Butler announces solo album
‘Policy’ will be released in March via Merge Records.
Will Butler, multi-instrumentalist in Arcade Fire, is to release his debut solo album in the spring.
The release was pointed out on Twitter by Arcade Fire fansite ArcadeFireTube, linking to a pre-order for the album on Amazon, though no official word from either Butler or Merge has been given.
Earlier in the year, Butler’s brother Will stated that would be heading straight into working on the follow-up to last year’s ‘Reflektor following their July gig at London’s Hyde Park.
This month, Will Butler played a solo show at the Baby’s All Right venue in Brooklyn, New York. Watch footage from the show below.
Elsewhere this year, Richard Reed Perry released his latest solo album ‘Music For Heart and Breath’.
