ArcTanGent Festival Announce ‘Day Of Damnation’ Stage
This year’s ArcTanGent festival just got bigger, adding a whole host of new acts including Earthtone9 and Devil Sold His Soul.
ArcTanGent is already shaping up to be a very special weekend for anyone into the heavier, post-rock elements of music at the minute, and now, they’ve added another full stage of acts to the line-up.
The Bristol event will now play host to the ‘Day Of Damnation’ stage - a taste of what occurs every year at the annual Damnation Festival. The stage will boast headliners Earthtone9, along with Devil Sold His Soul, Dragged Into Sunlight, Bossk and Humanfly.
They’ll be joining the likes of 65daysofstatic and Fuck Buttons, along with Three Trapped Tigers, Tall Ships, Future Of The Left, And So I Watch You From Afar, Gallops, Rolo Tomassi, The Physics House Band, Among Brothers, Axes, Brontide and many more.
Speaking of the decision to add the Day of Damnation stage, ArcTanGent co-founder James Scarlett had said: “A few of us went to Damnation Festival for the first time last year and thought it was truly awesome. The quality of their line up and the atmosphere of the whole festival was top class, so I’m bursting with excitement that we’ve been able to organise this partnership.
“ArcTanGent is all about giving festival goers something a bit different and pushing more leftfield, experimental music, so this announcement with Damnation fits perfectly with our ethos but brings a new, heavier edge. Bring on the summer!”
ArcTanGent will take place from 29th - 31st August in Bristol. Tickets are on sale now for just £59.
DIY is also teaming up with ArcTanGent for a warm up show in London. Gallops, Axes and Hysterical Injury will all be taking over the Old Blue Last on 3rd May.
