Ariel Pink, Hinds and Perfume Genius to play Iceland Airwaves
2015’s event will also see Mourn and East India Youth perform.
Iceland Airwaves Festival has announced this year’s initial line-up, taking place between 4th-8th November. Ariel Pink, Perfume Genius and Hinds will also feature at the event, joined by East India Youth, Mourn and Tonik Ensemble.
This year’s announcement was provided via a video featuring Icelandic musician Steinunn Eldflaug Harðardóttir as a fictional host revealing the line-up at a house party. Local musicians playing the festival include GusGus, Yagya, and Júníus Meyvant. Other artists include Batida, Weaves and Young Karin.
Iceland Airwaves will take place across selected venues in Reykjavik in November 2015. For tickets and information head to the official festival website here. Watch the video for today’s announcement below.
