Arlo Parks shares new Phoebe Bridgers collaboration ‘Pegasus’
It is the latest single from her upcoming second album.
Ahead of the release of her new album at the end of the month, Arlo Parks has shared the latest single to be taken from it. ‘Pegasus’ features an appearance from Phoebe Bridgers, and you can watch the video below.
Parks’ second album ‘My Soft Machine’ is due out on 26th May.
Speaking about ‘Pegasus’, Parks has said: “’Pegasus’ is about experiencing the warmth and lightness of good love for the first time. It also explores how the absence of chaos and the presence of real connection can be a little bit terrifying after a long time of not having it.”
‘Pegasus’ is the latest taster from the album to be shared, following on from ‘Blades’, ‘Weightless’ and ‘Impurities’. The album is the follow up to her 2021 debut, ‘Collapsed in Sunbeams’, which won that year’s Mercury Prize.
Arlo Parks plays The Great Escape (11th - 13th May), where DIY is a media partner. Head to the festival’s website for more info, and to buy tickets.
