A$AP Rocky unveils star-studded video for new single ‘Punk Rocky’

Winona Ryder, Danny Elfman, and Thundercat all feature in this visual introduction to his imminent new album, ‘DON’T BE DUMB’.

A$AP Rocky is back with a bang, having recently confirmed that his next LP ‘DON’T BE DUMB’ - his first in eight years, since 2018’s ‘TESTING’ - will be arriving on 16th January.

Ushering in his fourth studio album in style, lead single ‘Punk Rocky’ has also just landed, and comes accompanied by a thrilling, cartoon-inspired video starring - among others - actor Winona Ryder, legendary composer and musician Danny Elfman, and bass aficionado Thundercat.

Playfully subverting both musical and cinematic tropes, the track and its video sees five out of six of Rocky’s ‘DON’T BE DUMB’ alter egos - GR1M, RUGAHAND, BABUSHKA BOI, SHIRTHEAD, and DUMMY - brought to life in arresting fashion, all of whom can be spotted on the album’s Tim Burton-designed cover.
