At The Drive-In Hint At Euro Tour, Announce Benicassim Slot
Cryptic tweets ahoy! At The Drive-In hint at visit to Europe.
Last night, At The Drive-In posted a map of Europe on their Twitter profile, hinting at a return to the continent.
And, in a fairly unshocking move, today, they have announced their first European show in over a decade.
At The Drive-In have been confirmed to play this year’s Benicassim Festival, alongside other new additions such as The Maccabees, Dave Clarke, Little Dragon, Lisa Hannigan and Bats For Lashes.
ATD-I’s guitarist Omar Rogriguez-Lopez spoke to NME about the reformation of the band, saying: ‘We’re not getting any younger and there’s been an offer of money every year. You can’t avoid that. You’d be a fool and a politician to pretend that wasn’t part of it.’
This year’s Benicassim Festival takes place from the 12th to the 15th July and the full line-up is as follows.
