Aussie duo GL stream new track, ‘Take Me Back’
Effortless ‘80s cool is taken from the pair’s debut EP, out now.
Melbourne duo GL are streaming the effortless standout track from their self-titled debut EP, which came out this week.
‘Take Me Back’ is a slinky, charm-encrusted attack on the senses. Every synth burst serves a purpose, and it ups the pair’s already dazzling attempt to translate ‘80s obsession to a modern-day crowd.
The newly unveiled song joins up with ‘What Happened To Us’, which arrived with a suitably nostalgic video last month.
GL’s debut EP also features remixes from Terence Parker and Black Vanilla - it’s available to buy now via Sydney label Plastic World.
Listen to GL’s ‘Take Me Back’ below.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
