GL share video for ‘What Happened To Us?’ single

Nostalgia-pop duo GL dropped their latest track ‘What Happened To Us?’ last week, upping the ante for Australia’s stronghold on head-turning synth pop.

Their take on a bubbling-up sound - never short of chancing musicians having their go at the genre - involved a slick, perfectly executed take on ‘80s-indebted romance.

The same applies for ‘What Happened To Us?’’ accompanying video, which has Graeme Pogson and Ella Thompson’s sweet storytelling placed into a cinematic environment. This one involves a bearded dude giving his best ‘concerned expression’, while passing notes onto strangers and somehow causing domestics. Seems like a lonely dude, but at least that beard matches up with his fetching brown leather jacket.
