Autobahn share searing new track ‘Execution/ Rise’

With their new album ‘The Moral Crossing’ due in November, Leeds post-punks AUTOBAHN have already shared a couple of new tracks: the blistering title track and ‘Future’.

Now they’ve unveiled another new one from the album. ‘Execution/ Rise’ kicks off with a fall of discordant fuzz before exploding into life with scuzzy riffs, shuddering drums and a menacing vocal performance.

Speaking of the new track, frontman Craig Johnson said: “Actually, as a band, we’re more optimists. I don’t find talking about this stuff ‘dark’, but it’s stuff people don’t usually want to talk about—execution, rising from the dead, depression, feeling utterly lost and unsure where to go. To understand the moral crossing, to go one way or the other, and how it can change your life. For me, saying this stuff out loud gives the feeling that there’s a future”.

AUTOBAHN are also taking ‘The Moral Crossing’ on a tour of the UK next month. Tickets are on sale now.
