Azealia Banks ‘Begs’ To Be Dropped By Universal

With the release of Azealia Banks’ debut album ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’ looking increasingly unlikely (her last update was boasting a 12th February 2014 release, which clearly isn’t on the cards), the NY rapper yesterday went on what has to rank in the top 5 ‘Azealia Banks twitter rants’, the focal point being a demand to be dropped by Universal.

Banks also went public with claiming she wanted to be back on XL (she had a fall-out with the label before the release of breakthrough single ‘212’), as well as asking Sony to ‘buy me out’ of her Universal ‘hell’.

She was also honest in admitting ‘I’ve been gratefully riding off of mixtape fumes for the past two years.’ The tweets remain public. See them all below.
