Bad Sounds unveil exciting debut demo ‘Living Alone’
Emerging duo are keeping schtum on their background, but this debut offers a fresh insight.
Bad Sounds - a new duo emerging today with their debut track ‘Living Alone’ - seem to lean on the side of pessimism. Their first track muses on the fact that “nothing appeals” to them, as they reach into the moody despondence of the average twenty-something cobbling together coins to pay for rent and dodgy £4 cans of beer in shoddy clubs.
Thankfully the pair of them find rejoice and escape in jagged, cutting pop, the kind that makes an impact without needing to make a formal introduction. As it happens, there’s not a great deal of info about these guys. This song debuted on Phil & Alice’s Radio 1 show last night, but beyond that - nada. They’re just a couple of disgruntled gentlemen reaching out beyond misery to make fresh, in-your-face pop songs.
