Banks Finishes 3rd In BBC Sound Of 2014 Poll
LA songwriter joins Sampha and George Ezra in the BBC poll’s top 5.
LA songwriter BANKS has finished 3rd in the BBC Sound of 2014 poll, voted on by various tastemakers, radio DJs and critics.
BANKS joins up with Sampha (#4) and George Ezra (#5) in making the top 5. The winner will be announced by Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw on Friday 10th January.
The BBC poll initially consisted of a longlist of 15, including current DIY cover star Chloe Howl and London collective JUNGLE.
