Baxter Dury reveals new single ‘Celebrate Me’
The track is taken from his upcoming album ‘I Thought I Was Better Than You’
Baxter Dury has released a new single called ‘Celebrate Me’, a song which delves into his relationship with fame and his father, the legend Ian Dury.
The song is taken off his upcoming album ‘I Thought I Was Better Than You’, due out 2nd June via Heavenly Recordings. It’s the second teaser of the album, following on from March’s ‘Aylesbury Boy’.
Dury says the new track is “A stream of consciousness rant about being predictably bohemian, west London-ish and attention seeking.” He further says about the new album: “Really, it’s about being trapped in an awkward place between something you’re actually quite good at, and somebody else’s success.”
