Baxter Dury drops new ‘Allbarone’ preview ‘Return Of The Sharp Heads’
He’s described it as an “abstract subconscious rant, criticising anyone that is from Shoreditch or thereabouts”…

Having recently confirmed details of his next album ‘Allbarone’ (due out on 12th September via Heavenly Recordings), indie provocateur Baxter Dury has now offered up another taste of what to expect from the record with new single ‘Return Of The Sharp Heads’.
Featuring vocals from soulful London artist JGrrey, the track is just as dryly humorous as we’ve come to expect from Baxter: groove-infused yet lyrically biting, it’s a slice of sharp-edged post-punk that he’s self-described as “an abstract subconscious rant, criticising anyone that is from Shoreditch or thereabouts, as I talk from my ivory tower in west London.” Continuing, he’s summarised: “In that process emerges my own character. It doesn’t always make sense but it makes sense to me.”
