Beach Baby share spangly new video for ‘Lost Soul’

Flanked by resplendent glittery gold drapes, and some questionably snazzy silk shirts for good measure, you might well need to don sunnies to watch Beach Baby’s new ‘Lost Soul’ video.

Speaking about the track, the band shed a little light on the existential lyrics hidden among those sunny-side-up guitar lines. “You feel like a spectator in your own life, and are struggling to find a purpose,” say Beach Baby. “We also tried to infuse ‘Lost Soul’ with some of the sex and bravado of Motown, which is a new thing for us.”

The London rabble - who played one of DIY’s Hello 2016 shows at the beginning of this year - just finished up a UK headline tour. Fittingly, the beachy band are headed to The Great Escape later this month, too, where they’ll be gracing DIY’s Palace Pier stage in Horatio’s.
