Beach House preview two new tracks ‘PPP’ and ‘Beyond Love

The tracks feature on Beach House’s upcoming album ‘Depression Cherry’.

Beach House have previewed two new tracks taken from their upcoming album ‘Depression Cherry’, out 28th August on Sub Pop/Bella Union.

Following the lead single ‘Sparks’, the new tracks ‘PPP’ and ‘Beyond Love’ were played during an interview on Boston radio station WBUR’s ‘Here & Now’ show. The full interview can be heard in its entirety below; ‘PPP’ plays from the 4:30 mark, while ‘Beyond Love’ starts at the 7:00 mark.

Speaking about the album in a statement earlier this year, Beach House say that ‘Depression Cherry’:

“… shows a return to simplicity, with songs structured around a melody and a few instruments, with live drums playing a far lesser role. With the growing success of ‘Teen Dream’ and ‘Bloom,’ the larger stages and bigger rooms naturally drove us towards a louder, more aggressive place; a place farther from our natural tendencies. Here, we continue to let ourselves evolve while fully ignoring the commercial context in which we exist.”
