Beach Slang part ways with guitarist Ruben Gallego following sexual assault allegations
The band’s US tour dates will be James Alex solo as a result.
Beach Slang have issued a statement following allegations of sexual assault made against guitarist Ruben Gallego.
“We don’t feel it’s appropriate for him to be a part of Beach Slang,” they wrote on Facebook last night, “until we learn more information.”
The band were due to begin a US tour alongside Bleached last night in Washington, DC, which frontman James Alex will now undertake solo, acoustic as Quiet Slang.
Beach Slang’s US tour dates continue until 5th November in Mcdade, TX. They tour the UK beginning two days later, at Glasgow Mono on 7th November.
