Beck and Beyoncé mashup, ‘Single Loser’, emerges

Less than a week on from Kanye’s outburst at the Grammys, and thanks to anonymous remixer operating under the guise of ‘Beckyoncé’, we’ve been granted a questionable mashup to mark the now infamous occasion forever.

An unknown uploader has posted a version of Beck’s ‘Loser’ and Beyoncé’s ‘Single Ladies’ in an edit that’s unlikely to coerce Grammy organisers in to adding a ‘Best Mashup’ award to their mammoth list of gongs.

It is, nevertheless, a light-hearted ode to a moment that’s unlikely to be forgotten any time soon, and brings together a pair of artists who probably have enormous amounts of respect for one another. Despite the polarising debate that’s ensued, this mashup jumps out and yells, “You are allowed to like Beck and Beyoncé, you know?” – Just perhaps not at the same time.
