Beck Announces New Album, ‘Morning Phase’
Release scheduled for Feb 2014 promises to refer back to a ‘Sea Change’-sound.

After a string of standalone single releases in 2012 - each one longer and more ambitious than the previous - Beck has announced a new album, due out in February 2014.
‘Morning Phase’ will be released on Capitol, Billboard reports. It’ll be his first full-length in six years, although he’s also released the ‘Song Reader’ contribution in 2012 as well as recent singles ‘Gimme’, ‘Defriended’ and ‘I Won’t Be Long’.
Earlier this year Beck hinted at plans to release both a studio and an acoustic album. A press release claims it’ll be a ‘return to his Sea Change days’, acting as a companion piece of sorts. This can only be a good thing.
