Bedouine shares ‘Echo Park’

It’s the second preview of new album ‘Bird Songs Of A Killjoy’.

Last month, Bedouine - aka LA-based Azniv Korkejian - announced details of her new album ‘Bird Songs Of A Killjoy’.

The record comes out on 31st May via Spacebomb, and after previewing it with first song ‘Bird’, she’s now shared a second in the form of ‘Echo Park’.

“‘Echo Park’ started as kind of a joke. I was annoyed that my usual café was busy and there was nowhere to sit,” she explains. “I turned back around to my apartment, picked up the guitar, and started riffing on the neighbourhood - it ended up being a really fun tune. I love my neighbourhood but the rate at which things change can make your head spin. This song is about hanging on for dear life.”

Bedouine is set to play a full-band headline show in London later this year, coming to the Queen Elizabeth Hall on 7th September.
