Beirut Unveil String Of European Shows

Beirut have announced a string of European shows, including a headline London show. The Brixton 02 Academy event will take place on 16th September 2011.

Fans of the New Mexico band also have the opportunity to see them in the UK when they headline the End Of The Road Festival earlier that month.

Other acts performing at the Dorset festival include Cass McCombs, Gruff Rhys, James Yorkston, Joan As Policewoman, Perfume Genius, Timber Timbre, tUnE-yArDs, Wooden Shjips, Wild Beasts, The Fall, Twin Shadow, Woods and Midlake.

Beirut are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to their forthcoming third album. The follow up to 2007’s ‘The Flying Club Cup’ is expected to be released later this year.

Tickets for the Brixton Academy event go on sale this Friday (8th April 2011) at 9am.
