Benjamin Clementine shares stripped-back new track ‘Quintessence’

Benjamin Clementine has pushed back the release date of his new album ‘I Tell A Fly’ slightly to 29th September.

Luckily for us, the Mercury Prize winner has been giving us some additional insights into the new record before it’s finally unveiled. A couple of weeks ago he shared the R&B tinged ‘Jupiter’, and now he’s given us ‘Quintessence’. It’s the most stripped-back of all the tunes from ‘I Tell A Fly’ so far, featuring just Benjamin and his piano. It’s achingly beautiful, so you might want to have a tissue nearby just in case something gets stuck in your eye…

In November and December, Benjamin is set to head out on a tour of the UK, taking ‘I Tell A Fly’ to various venues across Britain. He’ll be headed to Birmingham, Manchester and London among other cities. Tickets are on sale now.
