Biffy Clyro top the Official UK Charts with ‘Ellipsis’
The band earned their second Number 1 last week with their seventh album.

It’s official: Biffy Clyro have scored the top spot with their seventh album ‘Ellipsis’.
Released last Friday (8th July) the band’s record stormed to the Number 1 spot on the UK’s Officials Album Charts, leaving Adele, Coldplay and Drake all in the Top 5.
‘Ellipsis’ is the band’s second album to hit the top of the charts, with the band’s 2013 double album opus ‘Opposites’ scoring it back in 2013 too.

Elsewhere in the charts, The Avalanches gained themselves the Number 10 slot with their first album in sixteen years, ‘Wildflower’, Shura’s debut ‘Nothing’s Real’ went in at Number 13 and Aphex Twin’s new EP ‘Cheetah’ earned itself Number 14.
