Biffy Clyro have announced that their new full-length ‘Opposites’ will be released on 28th January 2013.
The double album - which you can pre-order now - will be available on CD / DVD (featuring ‘making of the album’ documentary), download and limited edition boxset, with a whopping twenty new tracks.
Some of these we’ve heard before of course, including ‘Stingin’ Belle’ (the video for which is below), ‘Victory Over The Sun’ and ‘Modern Magic Formula’ – all of which put in an appearance during their recent live shows.
The boxset will also include:
- Double album on two 12” heavyweight vinyl discs, housed in individual spined sleeves with artworked inners
- A5 songbook featuring handwritten lyrics and exclusive photos
- Guitar tab sheets
- An exclusive ‘Play Along’ CD with instrumental parts removed so you can “jam with Biffy”
- Super 8 film cells cut from the original film stock the band used to make the documentary
Biffy will also play the iTunes Festival on 22nd September - their first London headline appearance since they played at Wembley Arena back in December 2010.
Speaking of the show, frontman Simon Neil has said: “We are so fucking excited to play the iTunes festival again. We had a killer time in 2010 and can’t wait to rock it even harder this year. Fuck One Direction!”
