Black Honey share new single ‘Dead’ & announce brand new album ‘Soak’
The band have announced news of their forthcoming album, which is due in August.

Black Honey are back! The Brighton band have announced that they will be releasing their fourth record, ‘Soak’ on 15th August. The news of the album comes alongside the release of their brand new anthemic single, ‘Dead’.
‘Dead’ follows the recent release of ‘Psycho’, which will also feature on the new record. Drawing on cinematic references, the new track plays on imagery of A Clockwork Orange, with frontwoman Izzy B. Phillips singing: “And you couldn’t decide to stab my back or my eyes / Oh no, I know what you like / Just press on the knife”.
The new album will be the band’s first record since the release of 2023’s ‘Fistful of Peaches’. “’Soak’ is me processing a decade of touring and creating music and art as an addict,” says Phillips, who is now two years sober.
“It’s me picking at the layers of messy, romantic, confusing, woozy, beautiful and fucked up things. Who I thought I was, who I was supposed to be and who looks back at me now are all so different but I’m kind of here for it,” she adds.
