Blink-182 confirm they’re working on a new album

Reading & Leeds headliners are in the studio, according to Tom Delonge.

Pop punk heroes Blink-182 have confirmed that they’re currently working on a new album.

The news emerged after the band’s Tom Delonge posted an image on the Blink Instagram account - an archive photo of each band member arrived with the caption: “Rehearsals start today. And yes there will be a new album. Sorry for the wait.” Their last release was the 2012 EP ‘Dogs Eating Dogs’, their first since splitting from label Interscope.

This summer, Blink-182 play a headline set at Reading & Leeds 2014, with other headliners arriving in the form of Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age and Paramore.

They’ll also play warm-up shows at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on 6th & 8th August.
