Blink-182 entering studio next month, with Matt Skiba

Bassist Mark Hoppus revealed future plans in an interview.

While ostensibly talking to US industry magazine Billboard about having scored short film ‘I’m Scared’, as Property of Zack pointed out last week, there was another nugget of information hidden among animated creatures and talk of banjos.

Blink-182 are entering the studio next month, with Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba apparently a slightly more permanent fixture within the band than at least we’d assumed.

Former member Tom DeLonge is working on his sci-fi novels with writer Suzanne Young, while drummer Travis Barker recently shared ‘100’, a track from a forthcoming solo album featuring Kid Ink, Ty Dolla Sign Iamsu! and Tyga.
