Blink-182 have reportedly been given a deadline of July 31st by their label to complete work on their new album.
The band are still writing songs for their sixth studio effort, recently cancelling European dates to spend more time in the studio.
Speaking to Rolling Stone about the album, drummer Travis Barker revealed: ‘We thought we were closing in on the end, and literally a week ago we pumped out a whole set of stuff that I think will be some of the best on the album.’
Barker also confirmed fans will have a chance to hear some of the new tracks on the band’s upcoming live dates. ‘That’s what we’re most excited about,’ he said. ‘It’s the first time there will be new music in nine years.’
