Blur announce global livestream performance of new album ‘The Ballad of Darren’
The show will take place at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on 25th July.
Fresh off the back of two huge Wembley shows, Blur have announced that they’ll be livestreaming a performance of their new album, ‘The Ballad of Darren’, in full from London’s Eventim Apollo on 25th July, 9pm BST.
The gig - entitled ‘blur present The Ballad of Darren’ - will last an hour, and will be the band’s first and only performance of the new album in full. The news comes following the release of two album singles, ‘The Narcissist’ and ‘St. Charles Square’, with the full record arriving on 21st July.
Tickets for the show itself will go on sale on 18th July, while tickets for the livestream are available now. The livestream will also be rebroadcast to allow fans in different timezones to watch, after which the it’ll be available On Demand for two days:
