There’s a new Bo Rocha song in the world, and it’s a more than exciting indication of where this new producer is headed.
For the unacquainted - Bo Rocha’s early-days ‘Angel Eyes’ track was a dark, twisted debut drenched in deep concept. ‘Live Fast or Die’ is similarly minded. Heading up her new EP (‘Even Green’), it sees her going way past initial Lana Del Rey-style wooziness, instead injecting glitchy production and a head-turning array of synthetics. It’s post-midnight pensiveness and in-the-club fever rolled up into one song. Listen below.
Bo Rocha’s ‘Even Green’ is out 13th November. She plays London’s Servant Jazz Quarters on 21st October.
