News British Sea Power Confirm Autumn UK ‘Sea of Brass’ Tour
Brass-based British Sea Power tour takes place this October/November.
have announced details of an Autumn UK tour, titled ‘Sea of Brass’. It sees the Brighton group taking their latest album ‘Machineries of Joy’ on the road alongside several brass acts.
The dates begin at the Durham International Brass Festival this July, before the tour expands from October 2014. Fodens, Flowers, Jaguar Land Rover, Redbridge and Derwent Brass are amongst the acts confirmed to join BSP on tour.
Peter Wraight has been appointed as arranger for the ‘Sea of Brass’ tour, stating his intentions to ‘create Brass Band arrangements which made full use of the forces within a 28-piece Brass Band.’
