Broods air new track, ‘L.A.F

New Zealand duo are readying themselves for Latitude Festival this year.

Broods air new track, 'L.A.F'

Broods have shared the second half of their new single, which arrived headed up by ‘Mother & Father’ last month.

The New Zealand duo of Caleb and Georgia Nott kept it in the family last time round, documenting life on the road and being a million miles away from home. ‘L.A.F’ is more upbeat, hand-clapping and whooping its way to all-out anthemia in the same synth-glazed way that Broods’ previous singles managed to.

It follows on from a self-titled EP released back in January. The pair recently told DIY that Georgia writes “personally”, while Caleb writes “abstractly” - “Sometimes I’ll ask George ‘Does this make sense, because it makes perfect sense to me’ and she goes ‘What?!’ Then I explain it to her and sometimes she’ll be like ‘Naaah’.”

Broods play Latitude Festival this year, 17th-20th July.
